Kimberley Gray was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Growing up, Kimberley played competitive baseball and hockey for the City of Niagara Falls. In 2005, she was awarded the George Lowe Award and Scholarship from the Niagara Girls Hockey Association for her captaincy and leadership in women's travel hockey.

After graduating from St. Paul High School in 2005, Kimberley obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Windsor in 2009 and remained in Windsor working in the alcohol and gaming industry as a surveillance operator for casino assets.

To gain a worldly experience, Kimberley attended law school overseas at the University of Sussex in Falmer, United Kingdom. While in law school, Kimberley competed in various client negotiation and moot competitions. When her studies permitted, she travelled to various countries within the European Union and Africa.

Kimberley returned to Niagara Falls to be close to her family and began her articles with Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP in 2014. In 2015, she joined the firm as an associate upon her call to the Ontario Bar. She prides herself on being an advocate and voice for her clients. As a general practitioner, she is able to service a wide variety of client needs and obtains personal satisfaction from learning new areas of law.
